Thompson. The recently formed Pueblo Radio Deal-
ers' Association of Pueblo, Colo., was admitted to
membership in the state organization.

hanced by subdued lighting presented an effect that
was both harmoniously beautiful and extremely at-
chaser to buy. Mr. Smerda, who started the busi-
ness seventeen years ago, states that by avoiding as
much as possible the sale of low price merchandise
he has been successful in building up his business to
where it stands today, one of the leading in Cleveland.

The radio department of the Knight-Campbell
Music Company, Denver, is now occupying larger
quarters on the fourth floor of the building. This
department formerly occupied limited quarters on the
third floor. • Present quarters are more than double
the former space occupied, being 50 by 125 feet. Con-

With the radio affording only slight competition,
the phonograph business is booming in Guatemala.
Climatic conditions make radio reception difficult
throughout the greater part of the year and few re-
ceivers are sold. Phonograph sales, however, are
large and portable models are especially popular.
