NEW CLARK ROLLS
January Catalog of Electric Piano Music from
Clark Orchestra Roll Co. Characterized by
Usual Care of Piano Owners' Interest.
The Clark Orchestra Roll Co, De Kalb, 111., has
issued its January catalog of electric piano music
which has been prepared with theu sual taste and
judgment in selection of tunes and the well known
pep and character of the recording. Thirty-five years'
experience is exemplified in every Clark roll. They
are the latest in music and artistically arranged by
experts. Clark rolls are built on a background of
service and satisfaction and do more to earn profits
for the owners than any other music roll.
Clark orchestra rolls are made for the following
automatic instruments: 65-note rewind coin operated
electric pianos using 3^-inch core:
Capitol, Cremona, Eberhardt, Empress 65-note, En-
gelhardt, Eusymphonic, Gordon-Howard Calliope,
Harwood, Heller, Howard, Jewett, Lehr, Marquette,
Midget Orchestra, Monarch, Western Electric A, C,
F-J, X, Derby, American, Carleton, Casino, Coinola
A and C and Cupid, Colonial, Cote, Nelson-Wiggen
Style 1, Banj-O-Grand, Style 2, Banjo X, Style 3,
Styles 4 and 8, Originators, National 20R, National
Calliope Corp., New-Tone Air Calliope. Presburg,
Price & Teeple, Regina, Reicbard, Schaeffer, See-
burg A, B, C, E, F, K, L, & P. G. A., Starr, Tang-
ley Calliapbone, Victor, Viiolopbone.
They are invaluable also for players using 3-inch
cores: Anderson, Ariston, Armstrong, Autoelectrola,
Billings, Concertrola, Decker Bros, Electratone,
Evans, Haines, Ideal, Wm. A. Johnson, Kibby, King,
Kreiter, Netzow, Reed Rhapsodist, Schultz, Standard
F and GR, Waltham, Watson, Wilson.
Sixty-five-note rolls are spooled on either 3-inch
or 3i/j-inch cores, so dealers should indicate on order
card, or in letter, the name of piano and size core
used on it (measure inside of core for size), and
avoid the expense and loss of time in returning the
roll.
Broadcasting of Clark rolls is done on thousands
of automatic music instruments! "Radio Revue" rolls
are now famous features of the Clark productions. A
new one each month! The new catalog includes Jan-
uary issue of rolls, foreign catalog, Nelson-Wiggen
specials, popular numbers, sacred hymns and xylo-
phone rolls, 17 to 19.

ENTERS RADIO FIELD
The Lehman Piano Co., St. Louis, will begin the
distribution of radios, wholesale and retail, exclusive-
ly, shortly after the first of the year, it was announced
last week by Phil A. Lehman, president of the com-
pany. The concern is now 7 engaged in the process of
liquidating its piano business preparatory to entering
the radio field.
While no agreement has as yet been entered into
with any radio company, Mr. Lehman said he had
several leading lines under consideration, and that
the company would wholesale one of them, exclu-
sively, although several will be retailed.
The present quarters of the company, at 1101 Olive
street, in the heart of the business district of the city,
will be retained, Mr. Lehman added. He said that the
building will be easily adapted to the radio business,
and, due to its location, it would bei deal for the new
business.
ATWATER KENT AWARDS
At the finals of the second annual Atwater Kent
Foundation National Radio Audition, held last week
through station WEAF, New York, and the nation-
wide network of the National Broadcasting Co., Hazel
Cecelia Arth of Washington. D. C , and Donald Novis
of Pasadena, Calif., were selected from among the
final participants as first prize winners. Each re-
ceived $5,000 in cash, a gold decoration, and a two-
year scholarship at a leading American Conservatory.
In Greenwood, Miss., the American Piano Co. fran-
chise has been given to the Jordan-Holmes Piano Co.,
Inc.. which is to handle the entire line, including the
Mason & Hamlin, the Chickering, and the Knabe;
also the J. & C. Fischer and the Foster pianos.
