SKALSKI ORCHESTRA CONCERT.
The Skalski Orchestra, Andre Skalski conductor,
gave its first concert at Orchestra Hall, Chicago, on
Wednesday night of this week. The program in-
cluded Tschaikowsky—Romeo and Juliet; overture
fantasia; Kalinnikov's Symphony No. 1 in G Minor;
eight Russian Folk Songs by Liadov; Baba Yaga, by
Liadov, and an overture, Prince Ydor, by Borodin.
In the tone picture, Baba Yaga, a forest witch, de-
scended into the court. She whistled—and at once
