NO HIDING FROM SCHILLER ENVOY.
It vv.ll not be necessary tor the piano dealers of

ests of the Schiller Piano Company of Oregon, 111.

PIANOS FOR SOUTH AMERICA.
A German correspondent, writing in the Zeit-
schrif; fiir Instrumentenbau on the Central and South
American musical instrument markets, says that
German instruments are frequently not bought in
these markets because the keyboard and cheeks can-
not be detached from the instrument. Buyers are
chiefly coffee-plantation owners, living far away in
the country, and transport can be undertaken only
in small two-wheel carts and by ox traction. Most
pianos, however, are too large for these carts, so
that for transport the keyboard must be removed.
