At the recent meeting of the directors of the Q R S
Co., Chicago, the following officers were re-elected:
T. M. Pletcher, president; A. N. Page, vice-president
and treasurer; Carl Sundberg, secretary and assistant
treasurer; E. J. Delfraisse, assistant secretary.
Nine directors were elected as usual for the ensuing
year, the same being T. M. Pletcher, Albert N. Page,
E. J. Delfraisse, Carl A. Sundberg, J. R. Cardwell,
H. S. Hanson, E. A. Kieselhorst, M. J. Moriarty
and Earl Holland.
In his report President T. M. Pletcher showed net
profits of $343,628.15 for the fiscal year ending June
30. This represented an increase of over seventy per
cent above net profits for the same period last year,
which was received with great enthusiasm. President
Pletcher reviewed the operations of the company and
outlined its future earning capacity.

Chicago, is no longer in that business. Mr. Aston
says trade in the radio cabinet business is livelier
now than in the piano stool business, although he

NEW EVANSVILLE STORE.
A music store catering exclusively to the negro
trade will be opened within a week or ten days at
301 Lincoln avenue at Evansville, Ind., it has just
been announced by Arthur J. Willein, sales manager
of the Stahlschmidt Piano Company of that city.
The new store will be known as the Town Talk
Music Company and is incorporated, articles having
been filed a few days ago with the secretary of state
at Indianapolis and the county recorder at Evans-
ville.
The incorporators are Willem.. Curtis T.
Mushlitz and Ross E. Myers. The store will in
no way be associated with the Stahlschmidt Com-
pany, it was announced by Willem.

A. P. Woodford and Ira Herring have opened a
