TOLEDO SCHOOL MUSIC.
Music in the Toledo high schools will continue to
play an important part in the high school curriculum,
it is announced. Clarence R. Ball will remain as
head of high school music and announces the fol-
lowing items of interest for the coming year. The
four high school orchestras will continue under the
direction of Miss Bessie Werum. G. V. Sutphen will
continue as director of high school bands. A new
band at the new Woodward high school will be
organized. Applied music will be given as formerly
under the direction of Mr. Ball. A few changes have
been made in requirements and studies. All students
must take harmony this year.
RADIO DEVELOPMENTS.

ceiving apparatus were known before the advent of
