IMPROVEMENTS IN GREAT FALLS.
The Barber Music Co., Great Falls, Mont., has in-
j stalled a commodious recital hall seating 200 in the
building at 514 Central avenue. In the rear of the
recital hall is a studio twenty by fourteen feet, fur-
nished with a grand piano, where piano pupils may
receive instruction. Another studio will shortly be
built on the mezzanine floor for the use of teachers
in stringed instruments. The Barber Music Co.,
which has been established for thirteen years, has
been very successful. In addition to pianos a line
of Conn band instruments is carried.

A SPURT AT DAYTON.
"We have had a spurt of good business at Day-
ton,"' said J. C. Bucher, of the Anderson-Soward
Company, Dayton, Ohio, to a Presto-Times repre-
sentative at the Hotel Commodore Perry at Toledo
this week. Mr. Bucher lets no grass grow under
his feet.

music store, has declared his purpose to open a music
store in California when he arrives there about Octo-
