WEAVER PIANOS BOUGHT
FOR MARYLAND COLLEGES
Notre Dame of Maryland and St. Agnes School
Install Fine Instruments for Use by
Students in Classes.
The merits of the Weaver piano, made by the
Weaver Piano, Inc., York, Pa., for school and college
purposes are well attested by good sales by the Dahl-
mer-Kennedy Co., 744 North Gay street, Baltimore,
Md. The company recently installed a Weaver
Studio model in Le Clerc Hall, Notre Dame of Mary-
land, one of the outstanding colleges of the state.
Notre Dame is a college of wide reputation and is
the largest of its kind in the state of Maryland. Le-
Clerc Hall is one of the numerous buildings on the
grounds of the college, which are located on Charles
street avenue, Baltimore, Md.
In speaking of this instrument to Mr. Dahlmer, of
the Dahlmer-Kerinedy Company, Weaver representa-
tive in Baltimore, one of the sisters said that John
Lettefer, leader of a prominent orchestra broadcast-
ing from Station WBAL, Baltimore, remarked that
the piano hada very fine tone and exceptional volume
and added that the piano has proven very satisfactory
in the college.
St. Agnes' School is one of the educational institu-
tions of Maryland which recognizes the great worth
of a fine piano for teaching purposes. In addressing
the Weaver Piano Company, York, Pa., in his letter
of April 25, Rev. Ignatius Fealy praises the York
piano, when he says:
"We are using the York piano purchased from the
Dahlmer-Kennedy company and have found it both
satisfactory and excellent. I do not hesitate to highly
praise and recommend it."
Davidson's, Des Moines, la., has been made ex-
clusive distributors of the Aeolian company's pianos
in Des Moines. The house also handles the Steinway
Duo-Art reproducing pianos, Steck, Weber and Stroud
lines.

advertising for July. The completeness of the Gul-
bransen local advertising service is further indicated
by the additional advertisements which have been
made a part of the July service. There is a three-col-
umn ad on the Registering piano, a two-column ad-
vertisement on the Gulbransen grand and a one-col-
umn advertisement on the Triano, the three-way
piano. All of these are handled in a modern way,
with illustrations that stand out on the newspaper
page and give the dealer attractive, clean-cut adver-
