KNABE PIANOS FOR THEATER.
The Reed, French Piano Company installed four
Knabe grand pianos in the new Portland, Ore., the-
ater at Broadway and Main streets in that city. The
theater is one of the handsomest west of Chicago and
was erected by the West Coast Theaters, Inc., at a
cost of $1,500,000 and furnished and decorated elab-
orately with handsome paintings and statuary and
drapes, with large reception rooms, where teas and
receptions will be featured. A handsome Louis XV
Knabe Ampico in gold and ivory was placed in the
handsome ladies' parlor, two Knabe grands on the
stage and one in the orchestra pit.
