NEW YORK CITY
Those in attendance at the hearing included J. H.
Shale, president, and S. B. Foster, vice-president, of
the Celco Corporation. Percy N. Joseph, an inde-

jected to the confirmation of the offer, saying that
he and his representatives had spent over $300 in
visiting Norwalk without being permitted to prop-
erly view and inspect the plant. He then bid $31,000
for it tentatively and the court postponed the further
hearing until May 17 at 4:30 p. m.

cago sales and distributing headquarters in a seven-
story and basement building to be erected on a site
of 25x100 at 234 South Wabash avenue by the 234
South Wabash Avenue Huilding Corporation. The
site adjoins the Steger Building on the north. It will
be known as the Ampico Building. Occupancy will
be under a fifteen-year lease under which the com-
pany will pay a rental of $42,000 annually.
Wrecking of a four-story building on the site is to

ing is scheduled for October 1. The cost will be
$225,0(K). The project will be financed with a bond
issue of $115,000, underwritten by S. W. Straus & Co.
George Simons of Detroit, as president, represented
his building corporation in the loan negotiations. The
site was obtained under a lease for 98 years and 9
months from Francis B. Keene and Emerin P. Sem-

The manager of the Chicago house will be Louis

Schoenewald was New York manager for the Story
& Clark Piano Co.
The building will be devoted entirely to sales and
display usage.

filming of a six-reel photoplay, "The Story of a
Song/' which shows the progress of a Clark roll from
the selecting of a piece of music to the finale, when
it is placed in place for playing on the piano. The
observers of the film see the operations of expert
men and women and machines in the making of a
roll.
Mr. Clark has always been a film fan and pos-
sesses a most complete motion picture outfit:
camera, klieg lights and other necessary properties
for the filming of scenes. Using his own factory as
"location" and the employes as the "stars," he re-
cently completed the interesting six-reel picture
which shows with definite detail just how a Clark
music roll is made. Mr. Clark has installed a project-
ing room in the factory, where visitors are always
welcome to see this novel picture.
