SALES SUCCESS FOR
DIGNIFIED ADVERTISING
Miller Piano Company, Norristown, Pa , Proves the
Value of Reliability in Printed Appeal.
One of the most successful music stores in Penn-
sylvania is that of the Miller Piano Co. of Norris-
town, which attributes success to good and persistent
advertising as much as to an excellent line of instru-
ments. The company, which has branches at West
Chester and Coatesville, printed a page announce-
ment in the daily papers of all three places which is a
sample of the ethical character of the publicity at a'.l
seasons.
Pianos, phonographs, musical merchandise, sheet
music and radio were included in the seasonable sug-
gestions. The places in each instance were strong
without the aid of quoted prices. It was a digni-
fied bid for buyers on the strength of the reliable
character of the house. The name "Miller" is gen-
erally taken as a guarantee of wor'h in that section
of Pennsylvania.
KNABE FOR M. S. SLOANE.
M. S. Sloane, president of the Edison E'ectric Com-
pany, Brooklyn, X. Y., recently purchased a Knabe
Hepplewhite Ampico grand in French, hand-carved,
burl walnut case. The piano was purchased through
Knabe Warerooms, Fifth avenue at 52nd street.
NEW OKLAHOMA STORE.
A new music store was opened in Tonkawa, Okla.,
last week. It will be known as the Tonkawa Radio
& Music Store, with W. W. Reser as manager.
Radios, phonographs, pianos and musical instru-
ments of a high quality will be carried.
