Philip W. Oetting & Son, Inc., Is Sole Agent for
Dependable Line Appreciated by Piano Industry.
Weickert hammer and damper felts are known and
prized in the piano industry on account of their ad-
mirable quality. Because fine tone and the character
for endurance in a piano depends largely on the mer-
its of the hammer and damper felts used in its con-
struction, the Weickert felts are sought by the am-
bitious piano manufacturer. The Weickert hammer
and damper felts for upright and grand pianos have
long been associated with the highest types of instru-
ments and their use naturally suggests admirable
merits of tone and care in manufacturing.
Philip W. Oetting & Son, Inc., 213 East 19th
street, New York, is sole agent for the famous line of
Weickert hammer and damper felts and the extensive
uses of the products by American piano manufac-
turers is sufficient testimony of their desirability.
The company also carries a wide line of fine action
bushing cloths and other commodities for the piano
manufacturer, tuner and repairman.
Philip G. Oetting, president of Philip W. Oetting
& Son, sole importers of Weickert felts, is now on
an automobile tour in the middle west accompanied
by Mrs. Oetting. He left New York three weeks ago
by the northern system of highways and will return
about the first of November by way of Indiana,
Ohio, Pennsylvania and Maryland. In this trip he
will combine business with the pleasures of a vacation
and call on customers of Weickert felts along the
route.
CROSSMAN WHITE MAPLE.
The continuously lively orders for white maple to
the Crossman Lumber Co., Grand Rapids, Mich.,
from piano manufacturers is significant of increased
activities in the factories. The company has a big
stock of choice lower Michigan end-dried white maple,
quartered maple and wide maple, which interests the
alert buyers of supplies for the piano plants.
