JOYOUS OUTING IS PLANNED
Talking Machine and Radio Men, Inc., Has Set July
14 as Picnic Day at Briarcliff Lodge.
. The annual outing of the Talking Machine and
Radio Men, Inc., is to be held at the most beautiful
spot in Westchester County, Briarcliff Lodge, Briar-
cliff Manor, N. Y., with every facility for rest and
recreation, Thursday, July 14.
"We will leave the northeast corner of 93rd Street
and Broadway, Manhattan, proceeding by buses up
the beautiful Hudson Valley through the most beau-
tiful section of Westchester County to Briarcliff
Lodge, with its riding, golf, tennis, swimming and
every opportunity for rest and recreation," says the
notice to members.
"On arrival at the inn a fine lunch will be served,
with dancing during it furnished by Ben Selvin
Orchestra. A lucky number prize will be given.
After lunch, games, swimming, baseball, golf, all for
prizes. Then supper, with more dancing and more
prizes."

300 compositions, representing about forty composers
and as many different arti&ts."
Although very few records other than piano per-
formances are used, the students are fitted to appre-
ciate music in other media, because most of the forms
explained are used in all types of instrumental music.
Professor Frampton has a library of almost 1,500
piano records from which to choose material for the
course.
NEW HITS IN REMICK SONGS
West and East Agree in Strong Favor for Easy-
Selling Numbers on the List.
"I'm Back in Love Again," the succesful song of
Jerome H. Remick & Co., is achieving its greatest
sales in the West. In Portland, Ore., it leads all
other popular songs in the extent of sale. In the
Remick Song Shop the song "sells itself," according
to Irving Sklare, manager, who says the extreme
favor for the song is in a great measure due to the
featuring in theaters.
Among the organizations co-operating with Mr.
Sklare in augmenting the favor for "I'm Back in
Love Again" are the Broadway Band, Georgie Stoll,
leader, and the Rivolians, conducted by Chuck White-
head.
