J? ROUPED in a suite of rooms,
J at the premier hotel of the
world, you will find a complete
showing of Schulz; pianos. Exqui-
site casings, the new finishes,
brilliant departures in pneumatic
action construction in both
reproducing pianos and players,
assembled with scrupulous care.
No matter what your association
with the Music Industries might
be, we urge a visit to the M.
Schulz, Co. display.
Featured among the Old World
art grand pianos will be the new
La Marquise, a delicately beauti-
ful casing after the manner of
JacquesVerbeckt, during the reign
of Louis XV. One will also find
several of the superb Italian de-
signs that have brought a new sig-
nificance to American pianoforte
building. We caution you to re-
member that these are not "period
pianos" in the common usage of
the term. Each is a replica of a mu-
seum piece, a bit of Renaissance
art, still to be seen in the galleries
of Europe.
For the edification of Conven-
tion visitors, Mr. John Anderson,
foreman of the M. Schulz, Co. Carv-
ing Department, will be at hand
to demonstrate the art of the wood
sculptor. Mr. Anderson will deli'
cately carve, before your eyes, parts
for Schulz; cases, pointing out the
methods of a craft that has flour-
ished since antiquity. It will be a
splendid opportunity to see a
skilled artist at his work.
Among the uprights will be the
newest shaded walnut finishes. In-
lay, marquetry, and overlay of ver-
million and satin wood, will be
found. To those technically in-
clined, the new developments in
Schulz, player actions and in the
Aria Divina Reproducing Action,
will prove of absorbing interest.
(
There will be present, to greet old friends, Mr. F. P. Bassett, Mr. Otto
Schulz, Jr., Mr. Henry Hewitt, Mr. A . P. Gustafson, and many other
members of the Schulz organization. They earnestly urge your attendance
at the Schulz display. Remember the location. Rooms 551, 522, 523.
