of valve band instruments by the Wurlitzer Company
branch at Dayton, Ohio. Mr. West is a famous
trumpet expert. He will occupy a studio in the new
Wurlitzer building, which has just been completed
in Dayton.

Special Dinner and Joyous Entertainment Features
for Musical Merchandise Men.
The pleasures of manufacturers, jobbers, and deal-
ers in the music trade who will attend the annual
convention of the national associations in Chicago
next June, are assured by the plans of the Musical
Merchandise Manufacturers' Association of the Chi-
cago Zone. In addition to a special dinner, a pro-
gram of entertainment covering the days of the con-
vention is being prepared.
Among the committee appointed by President Wal-
ter M. Gotsch are an invitation committee and an
entertainment committee. The first is composed of
H. Kuhrmeyer, John Luellan and Carl Richter. That
William F. Ludwig has been named head of the en-
tertainment committee is assurance that warmth and
novelty will characterize the social events.
