IMPROVES LOOKS OF STORE.
The C. W. Daram Music Co., Brazil, Ind., has
rearranged the layout of its departments. The space
given to booths for demonstration of Victrola and
Brunswick records has been greatly reduced although
the number of booths is not decreased. This allows
greater space for displays in the smaller musical
instruments, sheet music and player rolls. The gen-
eral appearance of the store is much better as the
greater space and increased daylight make quite an
improvement.

VICTOR ASKS REHEARING.
The case of the Victor Talking Machine Co. versus
the Brunswick-Balke, Collender Co. and J. B. Brown-
ing, has reached the United States Supreme Court,
which will hear a petition of the Victor Co. for a
writ of certiorari for a remand of the case back to
the U. S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The priority of
invention of a two-door cabinet is the issue involved.
The decision of the Circuit Court of Appeals favored
the Browning patent under which the Brunswick,
Balke, Collender Co. is manufacturing.
J. W. Jenkins Music Co., of Kansas City, recently
purchased the Rosser-Casebeer Building at 515 South
Main street for its local branch, Tulsa, Okla. Ac-
cording to public announcements, approximately
$250,000 was involved in the deal. The building will
be occupied some time in January.
