Last part of Paragraph 1 to read as follows: "We
believe that a selected dealer plan of retail distribu-

The interest of dealers in the new Capitol Word
Rolls for September of the Capitol Roll & Record
Co.,- 721 N. Kedzie avenue, Chicago, is a flattering
acknowledgment of merit in the product. Fox-trots
with a judicious mixture of waltzes and one-steps
were selected with a proper appreciation of the popu-
lar demand, and the recording was performed by art-
ists who are competent to put the desirable snap into
the music. The printed words accompany the music
in these new nopular-nriced rolls from hand-played
records. They have extra choruses and the new rolls
are longer than the ones previously issued.
The new line is aptly named "The Background of
a Busy Roll Department," for variety, quality and
price are advantages that make it a winner. The
Capitol Rolls are made of the best material obtainable
and guaranteed to please a dealer's trade and double
his sales. Their quality and alluring price make the
rolls the dealer's best profit-producer in a roll
department.
ANOTHER RUSTPROOF ENAMEL.
An enamel coating for cast iron propellers for
ships to make them as smooth as bronze ones and
prevent corrosion has been invented in Europe, which
goes to prove again that "there's nothing new under
the sun." For it is twenty years since the "Bonte-
nipe" process for rust-proofing iron came to notice
in this country.
USES CONN INSTRUMENTS.
Roger Wolfe Kahn's twelve-piece jazz orchestra,
which plays at the Hotel Biltmore, New York City,
save a musical program at the Long Island estate of
Otto H. Kahn, the international banker and father
of young Conductor Kahn, one day recently. The
members of the orchestra were entertained in turn
at a clambake. The orchestra uses Conn instruments.
