Xew courses interesting to men in piano and talk-
ing machine factories have been announced by the
I'. S. Forest Products Laboratory, Madison, Wis.
'The growing popularity of the instruction at the
laboratory among officials and employes of factories
using wood is a guarantee that the new series will be
well attended.
The names and dates of the new short courses are:
Gluing of wood, September 14 to 19; boxing and crat-
ing, September 21 to 25; and kiln-drying of lumber,
September 29 to October 2.
As the number in each class is limited to 20, the
necessity for immediate application for registration
is obvious. Application will be accepted in the order
of receipt. Only one course can be taken at a time,
but by an arrangement of schedule it is possible to
take the gluing and box courses or the gluing and
kiln-drying courses in succession.
