A count of the names of exhibitors at the Drake
shows that there are fourteen more reservations this
year than two years ago, when the convention ex-
hibits were at the same hotel. But there were also
a large number of displays scattered around among
the other hotels, as probably there will be some this
year, though they have not yet been announced.
So that it is seen that the special exhibits in June
will be sufficient to consume a good share of the few
days of the convention week. They will prove profit-
able to many of the visiting dealers and, without
doubt, the Chicago warerooms of the industries
which make no special Drake display, will also re-
ceive their full quota of interested visitors. It will
be a busy week, and the buying part of it will not
be the least interesting. A more complete list of the
convention exhibits will appear in next week's
Presto, in which very full advance reports of plans
for the June convention will be set forth.
Christman Display.
The Christman Piano Co., Inc., New York, will
have an exhibit of its products at the Drake Hotel,
Chicago, during the week of the annual convention
of the music trades and the display will properly rep-
resent one of the old and reputable names in the
piano industry. Foremost in the line of instruments
will be the Christman Electric Grand Player, recog-
nized as a triumph in reproducing piano manufac-
ture. The location of the Christman Piano Co.'s ex-
hibit at the Drake and the names of those who will
represent the company there, will be printed next
week.

GUS ANDERSON'S DAUGHTER DIES.
The sympathy of a host of friends in the trade
goes out to Gust Ad. Anderson, vice-president of the
B. Settergren Co., Bluffton, Ind., at the death of his
beloved daughter, Anna Beatrice, who passed away
on May 16. Born forty-two years ago, in Stockholm,
Sweden, she was in a large sense the light of her
father's life, especially since the death of her mother
a few years ago. The funeral took place May 17
from the family home in Van Wert, Ohio. All whc
know the warm heart of Miss Anderson must realize
that to him the loss of his daughter comes with
crushing weight.
Charles Ross, formerly service man in the phono-
graph department of the William Hengerer Co., Buf-
falo, N. Y., has joined the sales force of that depart-
ment. He is succeeded in the service department by
Joseph Hobson.
