ARTISTIC FOLDERS FOR
STARR DEALERS
Merits of Grand Explained in One and Other
Tells Prospects About Style by Player
and New Upright.
A new folder for the Starr grand distributed by the
Starr Piano Co., Richmond, Ind., upholds the char-
acter of the company for artistic advertising litera-
ture and at the same time realizes its main purpose in
setting forth in type and colored picture, the merits
of the instrument. The grand described in the folder
is of a size designed to meet the requirements of the
small apartment and home and does not sacrifice the
volume and purity of the tone of the instrument of
larger size. In the Starr grand over a half century of
musical experience is reflected in its artistry. It is
a masterpiece representing the maximum effort of
craftsmen skilled in the art to which they have dedi-
cated their lives.
"In the tone of the Starr grand is revealed distin-
tinguished musical qualities. Inimitable timbre and
resonance proclaim Starr superiority," says the
folder. "The most delicate touch of the keys calls
forth melody rich and colorful; the passages of cres-
cenda bring forth a tone of depth, richness and sonor-

ity of marvelous beauty. As to responsiveness of
action and general durability, Starr grand embodies
all the traditions of Starr ancestry."
Another artistic folder just issued is devoted to
Starr Style G player and to Starr Style S upright,
two new instruments. Both are made in mahogany,
walnut and oak.
The player is fifty-five inches high, sixty-four
inches wide and twenty-eight inches deep. It has
automatic tracking and sustaining devices, silent
travel forward, nickel hardware, lever expression
control, push button loud pedal control, lever con-
trol pedal door, and double slide upper panels.
The Starr Style S upright is fifty-five inches high,
sixty-four inches wide, and twenty-six inches deep.
Each of these instruments has the new one piece or
Empire top, a refinement of beauty, adding irameas-
ureably to the outstanding distinction of each model.
The Starr Piano Co. has prepared a large window
card in four colors similar to the center panel in the
grand folder. This card is size 14 x 22. A set of
movie slides on the pianos has also been prepared
and all of these are supplied to dealers.
