Monthly Bulletins of Automatic Music Roll Co., Chi-

The business in electric pianos, orchestrions and
organs grows in an amazing degree and every day
adds to the number of dealers who realize the im-
portance of the instruments in the pursuit of profits.
The help provided for the stimulation of this phase
of the music business includes the rolls issued every
month by alert roll manufacturers.
The new bulletin of. Seeburg Specials for electric
pianos, orchestrions and organs, is a remarkably
large one. The Automatic Music Roll Co. of Chi-
cago, which produces the Seeburg music, presents
one of the best lists that industry has ever put forth.
It embraces new standard 65-note music, for coin
operated instruments, pianos, motion picture players,
pipe organs, orchestra, hand-played organ, rolls
everything in the automatic instrument roll line. This
advice is given ownvvers:
Automatic music rolls are being used by all live
and up-to-date electric piano owners.
Music rolls should be changed often to obtain the
best financial results from your piano.
Are you keeping your piano alive? Are you get-
ting big returns from your instrument or have you
neglected to get new music as needed? Neglect is
expensive habit.

You might as well have the benefit of it, too.
The Columbia Hardware & Furniture Co. is a firm
title that does not suggest a most important phase
in the activities of the company—its big and growing
piano sales. But the firm is so well known in its
territory that a name more clearly denoting its im-
portance as a piano house is hardly necessary.

But National Association of Piano Tuners Denies
Responsibility for Instruments' Condition.
The tuneless piano in the home has been blamed
for connubial infelicity, leading to divorce, frazzled
nerves of listeners and cited generally as a disturber
of the peace, the cause of dissatisfaction by tenants
and the consequent wrath of landlords. Recently a
comic strip artist based his pictorial fun on the tune-
less piano in the new bride's home, and other pro-
ducers of copy for the newspapers and magazines
have found the tuneless piano a source of inspiration.
The National Association of Piano Tuners, how-
ever, denies the entire responsibility for the neglect
of the pianos lies with the housekeeper, and in a re-
cent booklet includes the manufacturer, dealer, sales-
man and tuner in the culpability. The booklet adds:
There is wothout doubt a great need for many
