Robert L. Seeds Co. Moves to Fine New Store at 12
South High Street.
The Robert L. Seeds Co., the progressive talking
machine firm of Columbus, O., formally opened Us
new store recently at 112 South High street. The
house handles the Cheney and Columbia phono-
graphs. In a page announcement in the newspapers
this was said:
''Seventeen years' experience in merchandising
phonographs and records only has taught us what
Columbus people want.
"Thirty-four years of progressive development in
the phonograph and record industry have evolved the
products to meet this want."
PRIDE IN STRING LINE.
The name of Otto R. Trefz, Jr., is known to a great
number of piano tuners and many have known it so
long they do not have to look up the address in a
book when they fill out an order for bass strings. From
frequent writing of "2110 Fairmount avenue, Phila-
delphia," Mr. Trefz's old customers have the number
and street pat in their memories. Mr. Trefz keeps
his list of customers growing because he binds every
new one to his house by prompt attention to orders
and fair treatment. He is proud of his tine line of
bass strings, but he is also proud of the number of
piano tuners who buy them.
A. H. CURRY RESIGNS.
A. H. Curry, vice-president of Thomas A. Edison,
Inc., has resigned, the resignation to take effect
October 1. Mr. Curry has been vice-president and
general manager for the past two years. A succes-
sor has not yet been named by the directors.
