increase the capital of the firm soon and add new-
lines of musical instruments.
Roy Ward, who conducted a music store at 176

the Rotary Club, thirty-sixth district.
J. H. Eden, of the Gulbransen-Dickinson Co., Chi-
cago, was a visitor at the Ross P. Curtice Co., Lin-
coln, Neb., recently.
Ralph Bollinger and W. W. Littlejohn of the
Bollinger-Littlejohn Music House, 206 First avenue
East, Oskaloosa, Iowa, have dissolved partnership.
Mr. Littlejohn will continue the business under the
name of the Littlejohn Music House.
The Ross P. Curtice Co., Lincoln, Neb., has re-
newed the lease of the building at 1240 O street for
another ten years. The firm has been at that location
for ten years.
Frederic Barlow of the G. A. Barlow's Sons Co.,
Trenton, N. J., has returned from a trip to Palm
Beach, Fla.
Remodeling and decorating plans have been car-
ried out in the piano department of the Grand
Leader, St. Louis.
P. Q. Shrake, buyer and manager of the music de-
partment of the Klein Heffelman Zollars Co.'s de-
partment store, Canton, Ohio, was a recent visitor to
Chicago.
R. L. Laverty, who was formerly with the Gadsden
Music Co., of Gadsden, Ala., recently joined the sales
force of the Orange County Piano Co., of Santa Ana,
Cal.
The C. W. Lewis Furniture Co., Tuscaloosa, Ala.,
recently added more space to its music department
and installed a complete line of musical instruments
and supplies.
Mrs. J. Fred Neilson is a new saleswoman at
Raiford's Music Store, Tuscaloosa, Ala. Mrs. Neil-
son, due to her wide popularity in the city, is a dis-
tinct acquisition and already a valued member of the
force of that store.
The Morgan Music Co., Herrin, 111., is promoting
a series of concerts in Herrin that is attracting many
customers to its store.
