BOOSTING MUSIC SHOW
Full Page Designs of Artistic and Striking Character
Devoted to Music Week Feature.
That the New York City press has accorded gen-
erous recognition to the National Music Show is
evidenced by the handsome and striking displays
carried on the front pages of their music supple-
ments. Art of a very high order has been em-
ployed by many of the leading New York papers in
setting forth the salient facts concerning Music
Week and its various features, and liberal space has
been given in their news columns.
The heartiest co-operation was pledged to Direc-
tor Charles H. Green of the Music Show and the
members of the Press Committee, and the news-
papers are demonstrating that their end of the pact
is to be observed in full measure. Music Week,
with all of the features appertaining thereto, has
caught on in New York in real earnest. The enthu-
siastic response from all quarters proves that the
public is interested in the subject of music as never
before and the outlook for an immense attendance
at the big display in Grand Central Palace in the
first week of February grows better every day.
Scarcely an issue of the daily papers but contains
some matter in reference to it, and it is safe to say
that long before the date of Music Week the Na-
tional Show will have been placed definitely before
the public.
IN GREENSBURG, PA.
Progress of the firm is seen in the improvements
in the store of the Porch Brothers Piano Co., Inc.,
Greensburg, Pa. Fully a third more floor space has
been added to the display room of this popular and
old reliable music house of Greensburg. This
newly remodeled store room now runs from Main
street on back to the Pollins alley, making the
largest single music store room in that city. The
interior of the store has been newly remodeled with
three demonstrating booths for phonographs and a
playerpiano booth for music rolls. Manager B. D.
Sibel has also arranged an office and a repair de-
partment to handle the rapidly increasing business
of the firm.
FOR MEXICO'S TRADE.
Every Chicago importer, exporter and manufac-
turer interested in Mexican trade is invited to at-
tend the United States-Mexico trade conference to
be held in Mexico City February 11, 12 and 13.
Invitations have been sent to business concerns in
all the large cities and chairmen have been named
to gather delegations. The conference is to be
held under the auspices of the American Cham-
ber of Commerce of Mexico City, and matters re-
lating to shipping exchange and commercial rela-
tions between the two countries will be thoroughly
discussed.

tions.
The concert, extending through the entire after-
noon and evening, drew an audience which crowded
the showrooms to the doors, and the efforts of both
artists were received with decided enthusiasm.
Air. Delcamp is both artist and composer, and all
users of Republic rolls are familiar with the orig-
ftiality he puts into a rendition. Many of Adam
Carroll's recent recordings are receiving favorable
mention in player roll circles, and in his work at the
Kunkel opening he demonstrated that mastery of
the keyboard which made him a leader among re-
cording artists.
