A short drive from the famed
French Quarter in New Orleans,
La., sits a popular neighborhood bar
called the Shamrock. It has beer, food,
live music, and lots of coin-operated
amusement games.
Alcohol-buzzed patrons weave
between air hockey and pool tables,
arcade games, photo booths, shuffle-
boards, darts, bowlers, and a couple
IGPM Distribution-supplied boxers.
On any random night, a cluster of
men might be standing around one of
those boxer games, waiting their turn.
"Hold my beer," one man might say
just before his fist flies through the
cigarette smoke--with as much muscle
as he could muster--to punch the bag,
hoping to beat the high score.
Beer spills. Spit spatters, teeth grind.
Fists make contact hard against the soft
material of the bag.
The scene may sound brutal--defi-
nitely not kid-friendly--but IGPM Dis-
