Lasertron releases
new games
New Big Buck HD
content
In 2015, Big Buck HD WILD brought the Irish Elk
Adventure and In Case of Zombies: Doe of the Dead. In
2016, the Bighorn Sheep trek challenged players around the
world. It’s a new year and that means new HD content.
Gemsbok Adventure has officially leapt into Big Buck HD.
Players can experience new treks, new adventures, and new
bonus games. Take down alien invaders from space, battle
fearless pirates to sink their ships, and speed down treach-
erous tracks through caves filled with gold in the mine cart
bonus. For more information, visit (www.playmechanix.com).
Lasertron has released four new game formats for its
turnkey LT-12 laser tag game systems: Zombie, Dodge
Ball, Vampire, and Elimination with Respawning.
Vampire: Players start the game as either a vampire or a
human with the goal of either turning every human into a
vampire or making it to the end still a human.
Zombie: Players start the game as either a zombie or a
human with the same goal as the Vampire game format.
Dodge Ball: Players are split into two teams with the
goal of eliminating all of the players on the other team.
Once a player is deactivated, he or she is out of the game
until a player from the opposing team is deactivated, at
which time one player can reenter the game.
Elimination: Players are also split into two teams for this
format with the same goal as the Dodge Ball format, but
once a player is deactivated, he or she is out. Players can
either play traditional or tactical style elimination.
The Respawn Elimination format offers players a set
number of times he or she can be deactivated and still
return to the game. Once a player has used all of the avail-
able Respawns, he or she is eliminated. For more informa-
tion, visit (www.laser-tron.com).
Walking Dead
arcade release party
On April 20, the Logan
Arcade in Chicago hosted a
release party, sponsored by
Three Floyds Brewing, for
Raw Thrill’s newest environ-
mental rail shooter game, The
Walking Dead.
The game, based on the hit
AMC TV series, features an
authentic crossbow controller
that allows players to shoot at the undead and rescue the
innocent.
There were two Walking Dead machines running all
night. Three Floyds Brewing’s Zombie Dust was on draft,
along with its beer of the month, and other favors.
