Betson holds annual
Syracuse Advance
Spring Spotlight Show
Betson Enterprises held another successful Spring Spot-
light Show in Verona, N.Y., April 11. The show had a large
turnout with many manufacturers and customers in atten-
dance. Guests traveled hours to see the latest video, vending,
and redemption equipment the industry has to offer.
“We were extremely happy with the turnout and would
like to thank our customers for supporting Betson,” said Dave
Reiners, branch manager at Betson Syracuse Advance. “The
Spring Spotlight show is definitely something we look for-
ward to having each year. This year’s showcase had the best
line-up of equipment I’ve seen in a long time.”
The event took place at the Turning Stone Resort and
Casino. Guests got the chance to speak with manufacturers
about the newest game features available. The Betson sales
staff also highlighted its available lease programs, which con-
sisted of the newest equipment with low monthly cost and
flexible payment terms. For more information, visit (www.

Betson signs new
master distributor
agreement with
OKRA/Goldfinger
Intercard has completed an installation for its new cus-
tomer, Four Seasons Bowling Center, of Hillsboro, Ore. The
remodeled bowling center has a new arcade and uses Inter-
card for its debit card and redemption management system.
Four Seasons, operated by George Mareina and his family
since 1978, is now owned and operated by his son Daniel
Mareina. Realizing that they weren’t using their 16 bowling
lanes to capacity, Daniel decided to increase revenue by add-
ing a full-fledged arcade.
He removed four lanes and replaced them with a new
arcade and redemption area.
“It seemed like it was a real simple system to use and that
was what I was looking for,” Daniel said about Intercard’s
cashless system. “While it’s too soon to quantify the financial
benefits, a short learning curve for the Intercard system was
a key factor in launching the arcade. It definitely fits the
bill on ease of use for the redemption side of things and my
management are doing fine on the back office.”

Betson Enterprises has signed a master distributor
agreement with OKRA/Goldfinger--an LED, LCD touch
screen monitor manufacturer.
“We’re thrilled about this partnership, and we’re excited
to grow the sales domestically for Goldfinger,” said Richard
Zayas-Bazan, vice president of Betson Imperial Parts & Ser-
vice. “Betson’s sales and marketing horsepower combined
with Goldfinger’s innovative product offerings will make for
a great partnership.”
Under the terms of this agreement, Betson is now the
master distributor for OKRA/Goldfinger in the U.S. Cus-
tomers looking to purchase OKRA/Goldfinger products can
now contact Betson to obtain them.
“This partnership will provide a worldwide outlet for
our products,” said Marshall Hartmann, vice president of
sales at Goldfinger. “It is a perfect fit for a growing manu-
facturer. We look forward to this relationship with such an
established and strong company.”
