invested time and resources to achieve
clearer photos. She also led a round
table discussion on prospecting loca-
tions, what makes a good photo booth
location, and issues of special concern
to operators.
Avery provided insights into the
Apple Face Place network, saying, “We

continuing to invest aggressively in

musement Products may well
have developed one of the first
family entertainment centers
(FECs) back in 1972 when it expanded
its chain of Sir Goony miniature golf
courses (from one in 1960 to five in
1965) to include another attraction:
go-kart tracks.
A laundry list of “firsts” followed,
with more than 30 innovations in the
56 years that Amusement Products
has been designing, building, operating,
and refining entertaining attractions.
The company is responsible for
bringing these products to the market:

FEC Success education program is
designed for those thinking about start-
ing an FEC or adding to an existing
FEC. Attendees of the two-day pro-
gram learn from experts in the field,

the next FEC Success are Oct. 4-5 at
