Basketball Blues
Your readers should be made aware that
there is a questionable manufacturer
operating in the Riviera Beach, Fla., area.
The name of the firm is, or was, Riviera
Millwork, Inc. It's president is, or was,
Leigh Hart.
On April 15 , 1988 we paid $2, L 95 for
one of Mr. Hart's ba~ketball games. We
proceeded to assemble the game and found
that the electronics were defective, along
with the bas ket itself being chea ply
manufactured. After numerous discussions
with Mr. Hart we have been unable to ob-
tain working parts for the game. When we
told Mr. Hart that we were returning the
game, he said he was going to go bankrupt!
As of today , almost four months later,
we are stuck for the money spent on a
manufacturer who ruins the business for
legitimate manufacturers. Our most recent
call to Riviera Millwork was answered by
American Amusement. We suspect that
this questionable manufacturer has gone
bankrupt to emerge as Ame ri can
Amusement.
All operators, especially those in
Florida, should be aware of this manu-
facturer.
