Operators can .. get aro und " the
limitations of quarter play by
introducing tokens to their arcade
operations. Tokens, combined with
promotions, can increase the bottom line
and di scourage vandalism in the
bargain. Yesterday's token wars no
longer affect today 's ope rati ons. Tokens
just make good sense.

Follow that truck! It might be the
perfect one for your route. Todd
Erickson of Summit Amusement
invested considerable time researching
vehicles before making his "right
choice'' to replace a three-years-young
truck doomed by poor design. In typical
shoot-from-the-hip Erickson style, Todd
tells all. We don't think he'll be asked
to do any commercials for
manufacturers of American-made truch
after this article.
Coinman
(Wally Bohrer)
Wally Bohrer, outgoing president of the
Amusement a nd Music Operators
Association (AMOA). reveals hi s
thoughts on vital coin-op industry issues
such as the much-discussed parallel
games, cigarette vendi ng difficulties,
educational programs, standardization,
dollar coin, j ukebox licensing , the Berne
convention , and the Washington
Conference. Bohrer has been an
aggressive lobbyist for our industry; it
is all the better for his efforts.

Cover: The Denver Mint was an appropriate
location for Centek's cover shot of the Penny
Press. surrounded by bags of silver. Centek 's
staff doesn't promise you'll make a "mint''
overnight, but with the machine's long-standing
appeal and long life on location a good R.0.1. is
