UP FRONT
A sneak preview of AOE '83
Now celebrating its fourth year, the Amusement
Operator Exposition has become one of the major
industry events of the year . And as you may have
guessed, this year's "event" will turn out to be bigger
and better than ever.
The AOE's new location, the O 'Hare Exposition
Center at the Hyatt Regen cy O ' Hare, will provide AOE
'83 with a large exhibit hall and an increased number of
seminar/workshop sessions. The modern and spacious
Exposition Center can accommodate up to 600 booths
all on one floor. All the exhibits will be viewed without
having to go from floor to floor or room to room and
are adjacent to the location where all seminar/work-
shop sessio ns will take place . A total of 25 new seminars
nave been added to this year's program which has now
been expanded to 54 sessions in all. This year's seminar
program will feature the most outstanding faculty that
we have ever assembled and promises to be a unique
educational experience .
There will be two free General Sessions this year
that we urge each and every one of you to attend . The
" Early Bird" session will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday and
will again be a question and answer session with some
of the industry's leading manufact urers. The second
10
" Bonus" session will be on Saturday at 6:30p.m. This
extremely important session deals with the problems of
adverse legislation and how it affects the operator.
Donald Osborne of Atari and Allan Fagel, legal council
to the AVMDA, two men who have been actively
engaged in legislation relating to coin-ops, head up
this all important session . You won't want to miss either
of these very informative free sessions.
AOE '83 will provide a unique opportunity to
improve your management skills, see the latest in new
equipment and services, implement faster more effi-
cient service and repair techniques, and gain a more
thorough understanding of your business and its
profits.
We look forward to you being with us this year and
urge you to make the most of all that AOE '83 will offer.
