The need for accident prevention and
risk management in public areas has
generated a line of floor, step, and
handrail lighting products called
Tivoli Guidelights.
Easily installed, the systems require
very little energy or maintenance

floors and stair steps or to replace or
be attached to existing handrails, these

There are more than a dozen differ-
ent applications for Guidelight
products. This low voltage lighting
system is a practical area delineator
that lies flush with the carpet surface.
It can be installed to conform to
almost any floor design.
Most important is its ability to
direct traffic flow , especially in emer-
gencies. Since the source of light from
Tivoli Guidelights is at the floor level,
it functions exceptionally well in a
smoke-filled environment. A runway
effect is created. It eliminates time lost
in adjusting to darkened conditions
for quick and sure movement to exits.
Three extrusion designs accommo-
date carpet-to-bare-floor installation,
carpet-to-wall, and mid-carpet place-
ment. Tivoli Guidelights are most fre-
quently seen in carpet-to-bare-floor
placement. In-carpet applications are
appropriate for theater and hotel
lobbies, and stores. Carpet-to-wall
Guide lights can be highly functional in
hallways and on stair risers.
Power is from UL listed Class II
transformers. Energy consumption is
about Y4 io Y2 watt per linear foot.
Light bulb life is measured in years.
Maintenance cost, if any, is negligible.
