begin with removing hammers from
the rail.
(Note: Don't remove all the ham-
mers at one time, just every other one.
The only worry you have is to be
watchful that you do not get the ham-
mers out of place. Always watch care-
fully each hammer you take from the
set and the ones you replace.)
Proredures
1. Replace the guides, i.e.. the ham-
mers you sent away as samples, on the
hammer rail, then start at the treble
end.

Uses AMC Piano Method
To Teach Piano on TV
More than a year ago AMC Field-
man Ed Romp discussed the new key-
board experience method of piano in-
struction with George C. Stout, pro-
fessor of music education at the Uni-
versity of Houston. Stout believed so
strongly in the effectiveness of the
method to bring music into the lives
of a great many people, that he has
now arranged '"Telecourses. " and is
using the AMC piano method to teach
piano over television. The University
of Houston put into operation the first
educational TV station
KUHT-TV
and began its fall telecourses on Sep-
tember 14. featuring the piano method
in the music division.
