adopted this resolution as follows,
"Whereas, the objectives of the National
Association of Music Merchants, Inc.,
is to encourage the highest standards
of service to the public through ways
and means in the common interest of

representing the price as the "Balance
due", or unpaid portion of the previous
sales contract when such is not true in
fact.

Sales Training Institute
Directors discussed the feasibility of
organizing a Sales Training Institute
to which NAMM members could send
their more promising sales employees
for an intensive sales training program
during a week or ten day period during
the summer. This institute would be
held in Chicago and would be conducted
by Sales Experts both from within and
without the industry and would in-
clude training on both big ticket mer-
chandise selling and small merchandise
selling. This project was referred to
the Sales Training Committee under the
Chairmanship of George H. Beasley, for
study and development.
