Percy Temlelt Passes Away
at 67 After Long Illness
Percival Temlett, one of the found-
ers, and up to a few months ago a
member of the firm of Campbell-Tem-
lett Piano Co..
Paterson. N. J..
passed away on
September 21 af-
ter a lingering
illness. He w a s
67 years of age.
The Campbell-
Temlett Co. was
started in t h e

houses in the state of New Jersey. Two
years ago, Mr. Temlett was ill and un-
derwent a serious operation but had
recovered. When taken ill again sev-
eral months ago. he sold his interest
to Joseph Hagameyer who was former-
ly with Hardman. Peck & Co. and re-
tired.
Three months ago he married Miss
Jessie Robertson who for many years
was with Hardman. Peck & Co. and
who survives him.
Funeral services were held at the Fox
Funeral Parlor. 203 East 201st St.,
Bronx. N. Y. and interment took place
at Kensico Cemetery. Valhalla, N. Y.

RAYMOND D. FIET
Raymond D. Fiet. owner of the
Krug Piano and Radio House. Yonkers,
N. Y. passed away suddenly in his
store on Oct. 5th. He would have been
sixty-three years old Nov. 1.
Mr. Fiet was found collapsed at
his desk in the office at the rear of the
store by Chester Whalen. manager,
who had been absent on a 15-minute
errand to a nearby bank. An ambu-
lance physician from St. John's River-
side Hospital pronounced him dead of
a heart attack.
Born in East Peekskill. \ . Y.. Mr.
Fiet was educated there and in North
Chili. N. Y. He came to Yonkers in
1907 and went to work as a clerk in
Krug's Piano Store which was founded
and owned by his uncle, the late Alfred
M. Krug. a former Supervisor of the
Third Ward. He rose to become man-
ager and 18 years ago acquired the
ownership of the business.
Mr. Fiet was a member and former
secretary of the City Club. He was a
member of the First Methodist Church
ESTABLISHED 1885
INCORPORATED 1903
and belonged to the Independent Order
of Odd Fellows.
Surviving are a brother, Chester Fiet
of Watervliet. N. Y.. and three sisters,
Mrs. L. Judd of Troy. Mrs. Alice G.
Church of North Pownal. Vt.. anil
Mrs. Frederick Murphy of \ onkers.
Ray Fagan Appointed Manager
of A. A. Tiller Piano Co.
Announcement has been made of the
appointment of Ray Fagan as Manager
of the A. A. Tiller Piano Co.. Louis-
ville, Ky.
Mr. Fagan is well-known throughout
the industry, for many years was man-
ager of the piano department of Sib-
ley & Kerr Department Store in Roch-
ester, New York and for the last seven
years manager of the Shackleton Piano
Co. in Louisville.
In announcing his appointment, the
company used liberal space in the
Courier Journal in Louisville on Sun-
day morning. September 27th. repro-
ducing a photograph of Mr. Fagan, and
pointing out to the public that he is
a nationally famous expert introducing
a new free service for that company
in visiting a prospect without obliga-
tion, to give intelligent advice on what
type of wood, style, make and price of
piano is in particular need.
The Tiller Co. handles the Chicker-
ing. Kohler & Campbell and Lester Pi-
ano and Winter & Co. Musette.
The Brodt Music Co.. Charlotte. N.
C. will occupy an ultra-modern build-
ing built of glass brick, according to
Cecil D. Brodt. owner of the store.
