NAMM Members Planning Promotion Minded
Meetings During Fifty-first Convention

chants will take place at the Hotel New
Yorker, New York from July 28th to

of the largest which has ever been held,

on Friday, July 25th. The piano divi-
sion, which will be on the 8th floor,
will move their instruments in on Sat-
urday, July 26th. There will be no
booths this year in Manhattan Center
like there was the last time the Conven-
tion was held in New York, and in-
stead, the 9th floor of the hotel will be
used for phonographs, radios, televi-
sion, accessories, accordions, musical
instruments, some pianos and organs,
which will be a runover from the 8th
floor.

The registration will start at 10 a.m.
on Sunday, July 27th, in the ballroom
foyer. All members of the N.A.M.M..
however, as well as commercial mem-
bers, will be pre-registered so that they
can call for their badges any time after
10 a.m. on Sunday and will find them
ready.
Sunday Meetings
There will be some meetings on Sun-
day. At 11:30 a.m. the National As-
sociation of Musical Merchandise
Wholesalers, Executive Committee, will
meet in Parlor B on the 3rd floor. At
2 p.m. the National Association of
Music Merchants Board of Directors
will have their annual meeting in Parlor

The exhibits on all floors will be
open at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 28th.
At 10 a.m. there will be an N.A.M.M.
press conference in the Panel Room,
and at 12 Noon the opening luncheon
will take place in the grand ballroom.
