New Piano Carrier Permits
Moving Piano Easily
The J. H. Sutherland Supply Co..
2S21 Kansas Ave.. South Gate, Cal. ha^
developed a piano carrier which at-

tached permanently to either a grand
piano to permit the passage through
or upright pianos permits easy moving.
The Sutherland Piano Carrier sets
for upright pianos consist of four cast-
ered. all-steel brackets, for back and
front piano corners. The back corners
of the piano fit into triangular shaped
brickets which are fastened to the piano
with four lag screws. The front caster
brackets are attached as shown, using
two lag screws to each bracket. On the
back corners the bracket arms extend
diagonally from the corners of the
narrow doors. Revolving rubber bump-
ers on these brackets prevent damage to
walls or woodwork. The angular posi-
tioning of the back brackets makes the
piano practically tip-proof, which elim-
inates a very serious hazard.
Carriers are sturdily built, for hard
usage, have double ball bearing type
swivel casters, and 5 inch rubber tired
wheels, to protect lloors and to elimi-
nate noise and shock in moving, also
effecting a reduction in tuning expense.
Normal height of piano is maintained.
Carrier sets for grand pianos consist
of three all-steel brackets, each mount-
ed on two double ball bearing swivel
casters. These casters permit moving
the piano so freely that any unsightly
inter-leg bracing is unnecessary.
