Golden Anniversary Convention
Discussions on All Business Phases

HE Golden Anniversary Conven-
tion of the National Association of
Music Merchants will be held at
the Palmer House, Chicago, on July
4th Hoor. The exhibits will be open at
9 a.m. on Monday. July 16th.
This year the exhibits will be held at
the Exhibit Hall where musical acces-

16th, 17th, 18th and 19th. Registra-
tion begins on Sunday, July 15th, at
10 a.m. in the ballroom foyer on the
sories, radio, records, sheet music and
television will be displayed. A new
addition has been that of the Red Lac-
quer Room on the Club floor, which
has been reserved for radio and tele-
vision exhibits. The 6th floor will also
have radio, television and phonographs.
On the 7th floor will be the band and
orchestra instruments and musical mer-
chandise. The 8th floor, as has been
the custom in the past, will be devoted
to pianos, whereas the 9th floor will
have the exhibits of accordions, band
and orchestra instruments and acces-
sories.
The Golden Anniversary luncheon will
take place on Monday, July 16th, at 12
noon in the Grand Ballroom. The
speaker will he James R. Lamb, Amos
Parrish Organization, and his subject
will be "The Fall Outlook for Retail
Sales."
The annual business meeting of the
National Association of Music Mer-
chants will take place on Tuesday, July
17th. at 10 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom.
The exhibits will be closed on Tuesday
morning.
Operating Sessions
Operating sessions will include one
on top management from 9:30 a.m. to
