OBITUARIES
LUTHER B. CLARK
Luther B. Clark, founder of the L. B.
Clark Music Co. Inc. of Danville. Va.,
passed away in his sleep on March 15
last. He had been suffering from a heart
condition for the past several years, but
was only seriously ill for the two weeks
preceding his death. He was seventy
years of age and had been blind since
he was six years old, having lost his
sight through an accident. Mr. Clark
was a graduate of the Staunton Virginia
School for the Blind and had been ac-
tive in the piano business since J902.
In 1927 he opened a store of his own
in Danville, Va,
He was a member of the Board of
Deacons of the Shelton Memorial Pres-
byterian Church here at the time of his
death and previous to his illness he was
a member of the choir, but due to fail-
ing health, he gave up singing.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs.
Sally Corbin Clark, and one brother
and a sister.
Funeral services were held on March
17 in the Wrenn-Yeatts Chapel and
interment was in Highland Burial Park,
and attended by a host of friends and
relatives of the late Mr. Clark.

V. Rammelkamp. at one time office
manager of Kohler & Campbell, passed
away suddenly from a heart attack on
April 30th at his home in New York
City. He was 68 years of age. Funeral
services were held on Mav 2nd.
GEORGE L. WHEELER
George L. Wheeler, retired, who was
with the Griffith Piano Co.. Newark, for
many years, passed away from a heart
attack on April 9th. He was 72 years of
age and started with the Griffith Piano
Co., in 1908 becoming before his retire-
ment one of the outstanding retail sales-
men in the piano industry. His home
was in Montclair, N. J.. where he had
just built a new ranch house which he
had occupied but four months.
He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Alice
Wheeler and a daughter, Mrs. Walter
Littlefield.
Funeral services were held on April
12th at the Brown Memorial Funeral
Home. Montclair.

cently wrote the Rudolph Wurlitzer Co.:
• "We have just closed a deal with the
Recreation Department of the U. S.
Naval Air Station of Jacksonville for

Plastic Fabric."
