A New Name in the Piano Firmament
7J
CONOVER-CABLE
It's a new name for an old company—a name
you'll recognize as being derived from the Schiller
Cable Manufacturing Company, makers of the fa-
mous pianos listed at the i-ight. As of December 1st,
1945, our full name will be Conover-Cable Piano Co.
Since 1875, when J. Frank Conover first intro-
duced the Conover Piano, it has been recognized as
one of America's outstanding "name" pianos. Be-
cause of this rich heritage, and quality tradition, it
was our feeling that Conover should be incorporated
into the official name of our company.
So be it—and beginning December both company
and product will vie with one another in doing honor
to the Conover name—the one by producing an ever-
increasing supply of fine Conovers as well as
Cables, Kingsburys, Wellingtons and Schillers—the
other by maintaining the reputation of Conover
itself, for beauty of tone. For the piano buyer
who cherishes tone as a piano's first requisite,
the new Conovers will exceed in tone quality
even the instruments that have gone before.
Postwar plans, now in operation, call for a com-
plete line of beautifully designed, tonally perfect,
pianos in all our lines, including Spinets, Studio
Uprights and Grands.
