Little Thing Called Love" and "Glad Rag Doll"
are proving outstanding sellers in the sheet
music departments of local music shops at this
time, and reports Indicate that general business
in these sections has been exceptionally brisk.
At the Eddie Tillman Song Shop both sheet
music and records are selling well, according
to Mr. Tillman, with exceptionally good demand
on the above-mentioned records. Other of the
sheet music pieces that are still selling well
are "Dream Train," "Carolina Moon," "Avalon
Town," "Sweetheart of All My Dreams,'"
"Makin' Whoopee" and "My Mother's Eyes."
A song published by Ted Hilgendorf, a Mil-
waukee organist, called "Just With You," is
having a good sale at Espenhains'.

Feist, Inc., New York, in the firm's list, which
give indications of being quick sellers. "Pretty
Little Thing,' a melody fox-trot by "Little"
Jack Little, well known radio announcer of,- Cin-
cinnati, heads the list, and is followed by '."No-
body's Fault But Your Own," a big English
hit just imported from London. Another fox-
trot is "Can You Blame Me" ('Cause I Fell in
Love With You) written by Joe Goodwin and
Larry Shay. The fourth is a ballad entitled
"Who Cares What You've Been."

Music Men Hold Meeting
The Association of Music Men of New York
held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday
evening, March 26, at the Central Opera House,
205 East Sixty-seventh street. Henry Teller,
well-known publishers' representative, was a

Announcement was made this week by Walter
Kane, head of the music jobbing firm of Walter
Kane, Inc., New York, that contrary to reports
his firm is not being sold to any other organiza-
tion. He stated that plans are nearing comple-
tion for augmenting shipping and order filling
capacities to high degree. The firm has adopted
a new trade slogan, "Serves You Right," which
is expected to typify Mr. Kane's plans for the
