History Repeats Itself
1886 a young man opened a retail music store in a small town in the State of
I N New
Hampshire. For two years he continued in business, during which time he
purchased his musical merchandise of BRUNO. Then he sold his business and now,
just 42 years later, this time-honored friend conveys to us this welcome news.
"In 1886 your firm began supplying my needs in small goods.
Two years l a t e r I disposed of my i n t e r e s t s and followed
another vocation. Though forty odd years have elapsed, the
name BRUNO remains with me. I t was indelibly impressed on
my mind because of three t h i n g s — r e l i a b i l i t y , prompt service
and evident i n t e r e s t in my welfare
"Now, in my 'junior y e a r s , 1 I am s t a r t i n g afresh and r e c a l l -
ing my e a r l i e r associations with your firm, I shall welcome
receiving your l a t e s t catalog with complete information."
To music dealers who are still without knowledge of what the name BRUNO
stands for, what BRUNO service means, what BRUNO represents in the way of
dependability and merit, we submit with all modesty this testimonial.
Think it over!

HOHNER
Traits,
Light OFF!
P to date dealers who are real mer-
chandisers have marked the Har-
monica as one of the fastest growing and
most profitable lines in their entire stock.
The spreading of Harmonica instruc-
tion in the schools, the great and rapid
development of Harmonica Orchestras
and Bands throughout the country and
the recognition of the Harmonica by
parents and educators as the first step in
musical knowledge have placed this in-
strument in a unique position and have
increased its sale by leaps and bounds.
Enterprising merchants are capitalizing
on this situation by giving the Harmonica
prominent space in their show windows
and on their counters. They are reaping
extra profits and securing many new and
satisfied customers.
The Hohner Flasher illustrated above
is a sure medium through which to obtain
profits for all retail dealers.
Set it up in your window, plug in on a
light socket and let it go! Day and night
it will flash its selling message to new
customers. Beautifully colored, electri-
cally illuminated, substantially built, con-
venient in size (14"xl7"), it is a REAL
sales stimulator.
The Flasher costs you practically
nothing when you purchase the No. 800
Assortment of Hohner Harmonicas—
"The World's Best" both as musical in-
struments and as profit-making mer-
chandise.
