"Where do we fit?"
UHpHE AMERICAN WEEKLY,"
J- a publication which charges its
advertisers sixteen thousand dollars
a page for a single insertion, gives
notice to American business that,
"The battle of the giants is
on! The price of prestige and
survival can't be met by
penny-pinching."
None will deny that this is a
sensible and true statement of exist-
ing conditions, portraying dire con-
sequences for those who would "rest
on their laurels."
Admitting that the "Titan units"
are in combat, what does it mean to
the "independents"—the dealers and
jobbers? It means that if they are
to continue a worthwhile existence,
intensive cooperation, harmonious
coordination and friendly considera-
tion by and between these two fac-
tors are absolutely imperative.
Right now is the time for inde-
pendent music dealers and jobbers
to begin a constructive program.
Let us then consider and practice
the logical and basic principle as
represented in the adage, "All for
one and one for all."
Think it over!
