Al. Piantadosi, proprietor of the music pub-
lishing firm bearing his name, at 1576 Broad-
way, New York, has recently written a new
mother song, "My Stormy Weather Pal," which
heads the house's catalog this Fall. Mr.
Piantadosi has scored many successes with
"mother songs" in the past, among them being
"Cross My Heart, Mother, I Love You," "Pal
of My Cradle Days," "Tired Hands" and
others. "Stormy Weather Pal" has already been
recorded on Victor records and other mechani-
cals and gives promise of being one of the big-
gest ballad numbers of the present season.
Other new numbers in the Al. Piantadosi cata-
log are: "When the Sunset Bids the Day Good-
Bye" (a lullaby); "Do You" (novelty fox-trot);
"Dancing Shadows" (a novelette), and "You'll
Be Sorry and So Will I," a ballad number with
plenty of sentiment.
