The Sales Promotion Committee of the Asso-
ciation, consisting of W. H. Alfring, of the
Aeolian Co.; Mark P. Campbell, Rrambach
Piano Co.; A. G. Gulbransen, Gulbransen Co.;
W. E. Guylee, Cable Company; Frank E. Wade,
American Piano Co.; Charles Jacob, of Jacob
Bros., treasurer; and Edward C. Boykin, execu-
tive secretary, has been working conscientiously
and consistently and has secured results which
are likely to prove distinctly surprising to me n-
bers of "the trade who have not had close con-
tact with the work.
The Sales Promotion Committee plans an
elaborate exhibit at the Hotel Stevens, which
will include samples of the advertising and of
the literature that has been published and is-
sued, together with graphs and mats designed
their annual session on Tuesday, June 7, in the
morning, at the Stevens, and will continue their
deliberations the same afternoon in the recital
hall of the American Steel & Wire Co., where
evening, June 6, at the Drake Hotel, and will
follow the usual dinner which for several years
has been a feature of the meeting. President
M. J. Kennedy, of the Association, looks for a
record attendance.

June 8
The National Association of Musical Instru-
ment & Accessories Manufacturers, of which
Walter M. Gotsch is president, will hold its an-
nual meeting at the Stevens on Wednesday,
June 8, and will give further consideration to
the various matters that were taken up and
discussed at the March meeting of the organiza-
tion, held in Buffalo. The selection of a suit-

The annual meeting of the Musical Supply
Association of America will be held at the
Stevens on Tuesday, June 7, and, as has been
the case for some years past, the question of
credits in the trade will receive first considera-
tion. There are also a number of matters oi
direct interest to the supply men to be con-
sidered at the session.

The National Piano Technicians will hold

The annual meeting of the National Piano
Travelers' Association will be held on Monday
June 9
The National Musical Merchandise Associa-
tion will hold its annual meeting on Thursday,
June 9, and will discuss ihosc problems that
have chiefly to do with the wholesaling and
importing of musical instruments. Particular
attention will be given to questions of tariff
adjustment, to which the president of the Asso-
ciation, W. J. Haussler, has been giving much
thought.
