New Comedy Song Series
Known as "Silly Billy" Series, It Will Contain
Large Collection of Comedy Song Numbers
Clarke & Leslie Songs, Inc., have released a
new catalog of comedy numbers which will be
known as the "Silly Billy" Series. Edgar Les-
lie, head of the firm and one of America's fore-
most comedy hit writers, has concentrated his
abilities and his talents on this series which
brought to light such favorites as "Get Out
and Get Under," "Where Did You Get That
Hat," "Tough Guy Levi," "Farmer Gray," "So
This Is Venice," "Oogie Oogie Wa Wa," rep-
resented in this new catalog. One of Leslie's
ambitions is to have his firm known as the
"House of Sure-fire Comedy Songs," and it is
to this end that he has started on the road to
his objective via the "Silly Billy" Series.
Leslie has opened offices in Chicago, Kansas
City, Boston and San Francisco in order to
better exploit the new series and also his pres-
ent catalog, which includes "Hooray for the
Irish," "Masculine Women! Feminine Men!"
"I'm on My Way to Dreamland," "Wait Till
To-morrow Night" and the famous "Fanner
Gray" song.

CHICAGO, I I I . , May 29.—The sales force of the
Pallma Music Publishers, 509 South Wabash
avenue, has recently been enlarged with the ap-
pointment of several new representatives.
A. B. Campbell has been appointed as the
New England representative and will look after
the firm's interest in that section. Mr. Camp-
bell is well known to the Eastern trade, having
had twenty years' experience in retail and
wholesale departments. He will make his initial
trip in the interests of the Pallma catalog the
latter part of June.
Ward A. French, another addition to the
Pallma sales force, has been appointed as Cen-
tral representative.
