likewise interests the civic bodies and clubs a>
well as prominent business men of the city to
buy the instruments so the child will have a
musical education, and the O. G. Thomas Co.
furnishes the teachers gratis.
O. G. Thomas, president of the company,
who was formerly connected with the Rudolph
Wurlitzer Co. in New York and Chicago, has
had fifteen years' practical experience in the
musical merchandise business as well as a pro-

number of the leading bands. Chas. H. Wagner
is treasurer and T. F. MacMahon, secretary.
A professional staff of well-known musicians
and teachers is also maintained, including Al-
bert Cook, who was formerly director of the
famous Kilties Band; Carleton Carpenter, well-
known banjoist and radio star who will special-
ize in banjo instructions, and Harry Geise.

Co., wholesale and retail distributor of musi-
cal merchandise, which recently opened show-
rooms and offices at 218 South Wabash ave-

by C. H. Taylor & Co., has added several new
lines including a special imported Hawaiian
ukulele, made in Honolulu. Holton Band In-
struments, Ludwig & Ludwig drums as well
as a complete line of stringed instruments and
accessories are also handled by the company.
A very original sales service policy has been
put into operation for the company's dealers.
