Dwan Photoplay Production, "Big Brother,"
a Paramount Film
Waterson, Berlin & Snyder have issued a new
song entitled "Big Brother," inspired and writ-
ten for Allan Dwan's photoplay production of
the same name, a Paramount picture issued by
the Famous Players.
The writers are Fred Rath, Joe Garren and
Mel Shauer, the latter being advertising man-
ager for the Famous company. The number,
both lyrically and from a melody standpoint, is
quite meritorious; in fact, wherever it has been
heard it has aroused unusual interest.
All the exhibiting organizations, as well as
the Waterson, Berlin & Snyder professional de-

partment and its many branch offices, will take
part in the exploitation and publicity campaign
in conjunction with both the release of the pic-
ture and the song. No number in recent years,
released in conjunction with a picture company,
has had wider co-operative plans.
The majority of popular publishers are no!
in favor of motion picture songs and the fact
that the Waterson organization is behind this
new issue speaks well for the number.
Signs Wiedoeft Exclusively
