Purchases "Eccentric Rag," "Erratic Rag" and
"As the Years Go Drifting By"

of piano novelties, "blues" fo li os, saxop hon e
books and other specialties that have proved
active sell ers, ha s taken over from th e Seidel
Music Publishing Co ., Inc., Indianapolis, Ind .,
" Eccentric Rag" a nd "Erratic Rag." Both of
th ese numb ers had wi de popularity some ye"I s
back, particul a rly the former number, which un
doubtedly can be revived advantageously. The
numb ers are by. ]. Russel Robinson, who, in
more recent years, has written such songs as
"Mar gie," "Aggravatin' · Papa" and other suc
cesses . The Mills organization will also take
over fr om the sa me firm the balla d, "As the
Years Go Drifting By." This is a waltz numb e r
which will undoubtedly have a large sale.

The new home is at 1587 Broadway, the build
ing occupied by the Na tional Vaudeville Artists
before going to their new building. It is an
ideal location for the profession and its facili
ties for a distributing center are also most
modern.
The campaign recently inauguratcd by th e
Harry · Von Tilzer Music Co. on the ballad
"Dear Old L ady" is making it one of the out
standing songs of the present vaudeville season.

a new home furnishing st ore at 35 East Main
street, this city, one of the features of which
is a complete talking machine section. The
line of machines has not yet been announced.
The Drake & Moninger Co. store until two
years ago w as one of the Vi ctor agencies in
Alliance and th e complete line, along with rec
ords, was ma intained by this concern. With
the sale of the store and stock to the J. H.

orchestrations and band arrangemen ts to retail
at 35 cents without a change of w hol esale price
to the retailer. This retail sal es price has now
be en made perman ent of the Feist organiza tion
and all publicity relating to the release of F eis t
prints will carry the an nou nc ement. After Jan
uary 1 Fei's t o rchestr ations will who lesale at
slightly incre a sed pri ces with spec ial price in
du ce me nts t o r egular subscribers.
