pages, real peanuts and the figure of a peddler
with peanut stand added further effectiveness to
the showing.
"Peanuts 5 a Big" has had a most activ e sa le
in man y other section s of the count ry; in fact,
it ha s been one of the most successful numbers
of the popular type ever issued by the Rich ­
mond-Robbins orga nization. The so ng is one
of the singing features of the Vincent Lopez
Orc hestra on the Hotel Pe nn sylvania Roof.

Geo. W. Thomas is writer as well as pub­
lisher of "The Rocks." "The Fives" was writ­
ten by G eo. \V. Thoma s and Hersal Thoma e"
his young brother. Hersal Thomas is fifteen
years old. Other popular songs published by
this compa ny in c lude "The Hou s ton Blues," "At
Sundow n," "Mu scle Shoals Blues" and "I .\in't
No Sheik."
